Your child's guidance counselor has a wealth of information.
The counselor or the counselor's secretary usually keeps an ongoing list of current college scholarships. Many high school students are shy about asking counselors for regular advice, are "too busy" to stop at lunch to speak to him or her, or are hestitant to ask too many questions. Your child's guidance counselor can give you tips on many college's acceptance policies, especially those in your state.
