Letter from the Editors: The staff at College Parent Magazine is excited to be launching both a new College Parent Website and, in November, a new internet version of College Parent Magazine. The College Parent Magazine and Website are dedicated to providing parents of college and college-bound students with materials relevant to important college issues. In today's world parents play a much larger role in preparing their youth for college, helping them apply, determining which college to attend, and assisting them throughout their college years. College Parent Magazine is here to help both parents and students with that journey. Our Website will feature articles on a wide variety of topics, from applying to a college, to drinking on campus, the Greek System, finances, safety on campus, community colleges, peer pressure, as well as other timely issues. You will also see sections on the Website to which you can provide input, such as the Poll of the Week and the Question of the Week. As a new online resource for college parents, we value your input and strive to continually improve the information and assistance we provide to parents and their children.
