Make Things Easy for References |
 |
Submitted by: P. Peach |
Your student should choose 3 or 4 people to write recommendation letters. One can be a coach or club advisor, another a teacher, and the third should be from the community such as an employer or a neighbor whose lawn your child mows, etc.
Then your child should give each person a resume including Activities, Honors/Awards, GPA, etc.
He should also give a disk to each and ask them to save the letter. This way, when another scholarship arises, your child simply updates the date and name of the scholarship and asks for the reference's signature.
