Buy coffee from a store and save hundreds on student expenses!

College can mean a LOT of energy drinks, and a lot of coffee. Every time you go to Starbucks you're paying $4-$5 a drink, which can add up quickly. If you buy your favorite drink for $5 a day for a month, thats $150!!! If you were to buy a coffee maker for $15, buy a pound of your favorite coffee (anywhere from $5 to $20) you could save a ton! A pound of coffee can make 50+ cups of coffee. Trying to save even more? Try cutting sugar and creamer out and pour it over ice. This is yet another way to save on student expenses!

  • Sydney Wolford  - WOAH!

    that is a conserving way to save more money just for college i mean kids theese days are too much into ciggerets and drugs and world hate now kids need to start going to college and getting their education insted of bein at home and doing nothing they need to live their dream
  • lyssa  - great!!
    So, soo truexD
  • ShikaG  - awesome
    :D That is actually a great idea.. people spend sometimes more than $20 a day to get coffees and coffee related drinks and when you go in to places you are sometimes looped into buying other things so you end up spending even more than that.. So if you bought in the store you would save so much..
  • Tiffany  - great idea!
    That's a really good idea. Coffee and energy drinks do cost a lot and this is a really good way to cut back on that cost while still getting the coffee!
  • Joanne  - Yes!
    Finally, someone understands. I've been doing this for quite some time. It's really a big money saver. I used to be an avid Coffee Bean and Starbucks goer and would spend at least $10 each time since I'd always get the largest size coffee and some sort of pastry. Multiply that by five, that's $50! It would be a daily thing for months. That was $200 I could have been saving. No wonder I was always short for rent and school expenses! Make lunches at home, totally do what Matthew said and purchase your own coffee maker and a pound of coffee. You will not regret it!
  • Chris  - Yurrrrrp
    Well best thing is in england you could buy a coffee from a small Café for around 60p - £1.00
    which comes to around about a dollar, energy drink you can buy in huge bottles at my local shop for £1.00 yet again, americans do have it bad.

    My college You can get a large tea or coffee for a good price, So it's good value compared to this, starbucks is overly priced anyway, I hate it, the atmosphere sucks, the food is overpriced and small, the only thing good about it is the Hot Chocolates, but I actually stand by my word and think my hot chocolates rule. haha.
  • Drake  - Terrible;
    This idea is tired, your document is poorly written, and you appear to have a difficult time organizing a proper, well structured argument. I don't intend for you to take this personally, but I can't stand it when terrible work is praised by so many.

    I've seen a couple of your YouTube videos, (as many, if not all of your commenters have, I'm willing to wager) and you appear to be a likable chap, so I apologize for offending you. Still, your "essay" deserves no merit.
