| There Is No Success Without Effort |

Name: Tiara White College Attending: Roger Williams University Students don’t realize the severity of their educational performance until it is too late. Every action and every grade received can have an effect on your future. Come senior year, when students are being accepted to colleges, the concept of money finally hits. Then the question arises, what could I have done during my high school career to keep myself out of debt? High school is much more important that most students realize. Keeping up with grades, athletics, and other extracurricular activities can lead to having an organized and stress-free college life. If students excel in each of these categories, their student expenses will begin to reduce themselves. Applying for and receiving scholarships becomes a simple routine if you meet all of the requirements. There are no short cuts or magic tricks to get out of debt; it is a problem that more than half of college students suffer from. So if they plan ahead and stay on top of their goals, the debt will not seem so dramatic. Schools recognize students who are well-rounded, and scholarships are given to those same students because they are most deserving of the reward. Those individuals who put in the extra time and effort to excel are the ones who will surpass when scholarships are handed out. If each student is willing to work hard, their efforts will be rewarded with their success. College is not cheap, and people struggle everyday to pay off their student loans. Don’t allow yourself to be that person; stay focused during high school and always achieve more. Students who do so will stand out from the crowd and come to realize that their hard work if worth it. Remember, there will be no success without effort. |
