Food Expenses

I feel that in college, most college students spend a lot of money on food either on campus or outside of campus.  My idea of saving some money is that students shouldn't buy too much outside food.  Food sold on campus are most likely to be overpriced than what they are normally sold for in other stores.  As for going out of campus to eat, it may still get expensive and overpriced.  A way students can save money is to simply buy groceries and fresh food from a supermarket, and prepare their own meals.  This can apply for both commuters and dormers.  Buying frozen food items or raw food items will prove to be much cheaper and less expensive than going to the cafeteria or a fast food place and buying a meal.  If a student is a long commute away from campus, that student can buy things like sandwich ingredients and bring a sandwich with him or her to campus for lunch.  Having food and drinks stocked at home and bringing them along with you on campus will definitely save you a lot more money than having lunch everyday at the school cafeteria and such.
